The Solaris System is a star system consisting of a single main sequence star with a large planetary system orbiting it. It was settled by the Solarians in 10,000 XE following its discovery by the proginators of the Solarian race, Malakai and Belisari Madora. Following this time, the entire system has come to be thoroughly colonized by the Solarian race, and all of its main planets serving as homeworlds for the individual sub-races of the Solarian civilization. It is the heart of the Solaris Federation, which has taken on an expansionist role following the Amaru invasion in 9,344 XE, all with the goal of protecting the system.
